Palliative Care Hub - Professional

AIIHPC has launched The Palliative Care Hub – Professional, an updated online resource designed to support health and social care professionals and educators working in palliative care across the island of Ireland.

The site includes a dedicated searchable Resource Bank bringing together practical and trusted resources to support palliative care practice and education, including reports, toolkits, guidance documents, educational materials, videos and presentations and much more. The Resource Bank is designed to make relevant palliative care information easier to find, use and share, whether supporting teaching and learning, professional development or day-to-day practice.

The site features the ‘Policy and Guidelines’ section which contains the key policy, strategy and guidelines reports from the Departments of Health and key health agencies from the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland for health and social care professionals working within adults and children’s palliative care.

The site also contains key information on developments within palliative care ‘Education and Practice’ which are designed to support the advancement of health and social care professionals working within education and practice.

The site also details planned upcoming events along with videos and resources from past events.

The Palliative Care Hub – Professional is aimed at health and social care professionals, academics, researchers and educators. It offers a central repository for these audiences to access key reports, toolkits, guidance documents, links, videos, presentations and other resources.

This website builds upon the excellent work being done by AIIHPC’s partners and many other organisations across the palliative care sector in Ireland, Northern Ireland and internationally.

A central goal of the website as it begins to grow is connecting communities of professionals working in palliative care together.
