The Palliative Hub – Learning Platform provides an online learning environment to support palliative care education across the island of Ireland. It complements the wider Palliative Hub websites by offering a range of online learning programmes for both the public and professionals.
The platform aims to make palliative care learning more accessible by bringing together courses, resources and learning spaces in one central location. It supports individuals who wish to develop their understanding of palliative care, as well as professionals who want to build knowledge, confidence and skills in their practice.
The Learning Platform also provides dedicated online spaces for AIIHPC’s Communities of Practice and Special Interest Groups. These areas support collaboration, discussion and the sharing of knowledge among people with a shared interest in palliative care.
AIIHPC member organisations can also use the platform to host and share their own learning materials. This helps to make educational resources more widely available and supports consistency, collaboration and shared learning across the palliative care sector.

In May 2015, a suite of new online palliative care education programmes was launched by All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC) and its partners.
